Every first Thursday of the month, the Centraal Museum will open its doors to the public in the evening. On Thursday 7 November, the museum and mini-festival Le Mini Who? will host a spin-off of the music festival Le Guess Who? This festival sees cafés, restaurants and industrial locations transformed into pop-up podiums for (mainly) Dutch underground bands. The musical backdrop is the perfect way to see the Dreams Cast in Concrete exhibition in a totally different light. This exhibition features two utopian building projects with a turbulent history: the Kanaleneiland district (an urban area in the south of the city that was built in the 60s), and Hoog Catharijne (a shopping area in the city centre that was also erected in the 60s). A couple of drinks from ‘Café Centraal’ obviously completes the late night experience.
