Always wanted to know what Dom square used to look like? With the web application 2,000 years Dom square you can discover what it looked like in different time periods through 3D reconstructions: from Roman times, the Middle Ages and the Germanic and Gothic cathedral all the way to the contemporary square. The app was developed by the underground historic visitor centre DOMunder, and gives you a 360 degree tour of the monasteries, farms and other buildings that once stood on Dom square. The highlight is the nave of the Dom, which was destroyed by a hurricane in 1674, but can now be seen in full digital glory again.
