On Monday Jip adores carrots, and by Tuesday they’re the most revolting food on Earth. Sometimes he’ll only eat potatoes, sometimes only rice. And WHAT are those green things in the sauce!? Jip’s parents are at the end of their tether. Shouting, yelling and screaming. Plates hurtle through the air. But at night, Jip has the most wonderful dreams. Dreams about rapping roti, swinging pancakes and singing strawberries. And about Mum and Dad, who will end up as mince if they don’t act normally. Wouldn’t that make delicious meatballs for the soup? ‘Eet je bord leeg’ is a bittersweet comedy for connoisseurs from 4 to 104.
