Johnny works from early morning till late in the evening on his parents’ farm in the misty hills of Yorkshire in the north of England. He drowns his sorrows in the local pub and has a string of meaningless sexual adventures. When a Rumanian seasonal worker turns up to work on the farm for a few weeks, Johnny experiences all kinds of confusing emotions that he’s never felt before. The intense relationship that ensues will change his life forever.
