Lucky dogs and lovebirds watch out: the culture festival in Leidsche Rijn, the newest district of Utrecht, arrives at Castellum Hoge Woerd in late August. This year’s festival is about animals. Children from 2 to 12 years can come and enjoy the theatre shows, music performances and workshops about animals and their funny ways. Have your face painted like a tiger, draw your best chicken scratch in a creative workshop or hug the festival bird Joek.
