Remembrance Day in the Netherlands is on Saturday 4 May. The Dutch remember their victims of World War II and those that died in subsequent conflicts and peace missions. If you’re going out that evening, you should be aware that 2 minutes of silence starts at 20:00. On Sunday 5 May, we celebrate freedom with Liberation Day festivals: in Utrecht there’s a free music festival in Park Transwijk. It promises to be a great day with performances by EUT, 2manydjs, Thomas Azier and many others.
