On 31 October 2017, it will be exactly 500 years since Maarten Luther posted his 95 theses on the door of All Saints church in the German town of Wittenberg. His action prompted the biggest revolution in European ecclesiastical history. Using words, pictures and music, this exhibition takes you on a journey through the turbulent times at the end of the Middle Ages, when the church abused the omnipresent faith of its followers to line its own coffers. Who was Maarten Luther? And how does this period relate to today’s world?
