She’s probably the most-painted and sculpted woman in the world: Mary. This exhibition tells the story of her remarkable life, as portrayed in old and new art. Exhibits vary from manuscripts and statues, to paintings and video installations. Eye catchers are an almost two meters high wooden sculpture by Dutch artist Elisabet Stienstra and a dress by Belgian artist Jan Fabre, covered with golden green beetles. Follow Mary’s life and feel her joy, sorrow, comfort and protection.
