In 1970, the Miss World beauty competition takes place in London, with American comedy legend Bob Hope as the presenter. At the time, the show was the most watched TV-show in the world with more than 100 million viewers. The newly formed Women’s Liberation Movement, which argues that these beauty competitions objectify women, decides to disrupt the live broadcast.
