For the ten days that the Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) lasts, Utrecht is the film capital of the Netherlands and the place to watch the most recent Dutch releases. You’ll see everything from art house to mainstream films. But there’s more: alongside feature films, documentaries, animations, short films and television dramas, there are also games, interactive projects and a beating festival heart on the Neude, where you can go to analyse the films you’ve seen with a drink in your hand. For international visitors, there’s a daily selection of Dutch films with English subtitles. The complete English programme is available on filmfestival.nl/international.
