This annual arts festival arrives in Utrecht again in late March. It features theatre and dance performances (many suitable for non-Dutch speakers), musical performances, visual arts, interactive installations and games, and a bit of cabaret and stand-up comedy. Two temporary theatres will be erected in the festival heart on the Neude, with shows for young and old throughout the city. The Tweetakt Festival lasts until mid-April, when it moves to sites in and around Fort Ruigenhoek, just outside town. Here you will see huge sculptures, interactive installations, video art and games, all created by renowned artists and budding talent.
> 29 March to 14 April in the city centre, and from 31 March at Fort Ruigenhoek
