At Centraal Museum you visit Voices of Fashion: an exhibition about the history of fashion, focusing on black designers, models and sources of inspiration.

Voices of Fashion examines the white gaze with which fashion has been presented, worn and collected for decades. Based on years of research by black, white and non-black people of color, we have to conclude that the consequences of the colonial past continue to this day, also in the fashion systems. Voices of Fashion takes you into a little-told fashion story, with dazzling design provided by Afaina de Jong of AFARAI.

Centraal Museum is opened Tuesday to Sunday, from 11h to 17h. The exhibition runs until Sunday 15 August.
