A simplified, geometric version of the Mona Lisa or Van Gogh – as a poster, postcard or brooch. That summarises the work of MIMA, short for Minimal Masters. Noortje is the artist behind these graphic adaptations, in which she strips away all the ‘fuss’ from classical paintings. What remains are clean, graphic blocks of colour that are still instantly recognizable as the original works.
