Throwback

Throwback: 1970 - Stationsplein

Every month an old photo from The Utrecht Archives.

It will probably take some time to realise what you are looking at, because everything you see in this photo is not there anymore. This is the view of Stationsplein around 1970, from the corner with Leidseweg. The big building in the middle is Hotel Terminus. It was demolished in 1973, because there was no space for the hotel in the new construction plans for Hoog Catharijne.
