Double Bill: Fools & Psalm 27

Robin Nimanong (hen/hun) develops their work in the field of queer art, connected to societal developments, with the aim of making unheard, marginalized voices heard. ‘Fools’ is an ongoing research into how Ballroom (Vogue) and contemporary dance theatre can merge and discusses topics such as gender and queer-liberation.

Trevoga is the collective of AHK alumni Neda Ruzheva (BG, 1999), Antonina Pushkareva (RU, 2000), Erikas Žilaitis (LT, 1999) and Dovilė Krutulytė (LT, 1998). ‘Psalm 27 (Work in progress)’ stems from the collective’s obsession with ‘soft power’ and the sensual way the media seduces its viewers into obeying oppressive power structures.
