De Ronde/DeRoo: It really hurts when your head hits the concrete

A man drags his companion along like a ragdoll. A 70-kilo body tied to him. On the road and lost, they search for a way out, with the ragdoll serving as a living Swiss Army knife. Tap his head and water comes out, or climb him like a watchtower to scout for direction. But what if your companion suddenly refuses to go any further?

It really hurts when your head hits the concrete humorously and poetically embodies how we all carry a history. In this site-specific performance, we zoom in on the physical internal monologue of a man and his resistant companion. You’re immersed in an absurd world where the weight you carry is made visible. Expect a visual storm that reads like a poem and carries you through acrobatic, virtuoso highlights.
