Chinese hyperpop star Alice Longyu Gao delivers genre-bending pop infused with punk, trap, and J-pop influences. In her music and performances, Alice draws attention to issues like eating disorder recovery, government-funded arts education for all, and sustainability in fashion. She is currently working on a new album set to release in September, following the release of promising singles like “Lesbians <3” and “Detective Alice” earlier this year. In the spring of 2023, she was a special guest at Queer in Wonderland, and this fall, she returns to EKKO as part of her European headline tour.
