Scapino Ballet Rotterdam is reprising the successful ‘Cathedral, an evening with Arvo Pärt’ by Spanish dance and theatre maker Marcos Morau. With his combination of artistic disciplines, stunning design and innovative movement language, Morau is among the top of the European theatre world. ‘Cathedral’ shows a world dominated by digital technologies, in which we increasingly lose contact with each other. With the mystical music of Arvo Pärt as a heartbeat, Morau and the dancers go in search of what makes us human.
