We know Alan Sparhawk as the leader of former US slow-core trio Low. Former, because with the death of Sparhawk’s wife and fellow band member Mimi Parker in 2022, Low also came to an end. Low did not enjoy great commercial success in their nearly 30 years of existence, but on the artistic front they were acclaimed by the music press. Sparhawk processes his grief in the way that suits him best: through his music. Last year, he released his solo album White Roses, My God, and a new album together with Trampled By Turtles is due at the end of May.
