How can one help the other when both are frozen in pain? How can we gallop like young foals again? Who am I without the other? What am I living for? 

Guided by a raw, atmospheric post rock/shoegaze soundtrack, two bodies lose themselves in the tug of war between love and grief. An emotional, disorienting chase through memories. Enigmatic visions, shattering and refracting light, shadows in darkness. Both the performers and the audience are entranced by a space where past and present collide. 

Requiem for a Young Soul is a plea for the strength of heart in the midst of suffering, for a haven where you simultaneously can be lost and found. A gripping, cinematic dance performance about how coping with untimely loss can lead to intimacy and resilience.
