Do you like watching sitcoms? Now you can see new and unscripted episodes being created on the spot in the theatre!

The advanced students of Improv Utrecht, with director Iwan Dam, showcase their skills in a very fun and interactive show, called The Sitcom.

What can you expect?
The group will play 2 or more episodes of a Sitcom series that they make up on the spot! The audience can help decide what type of group, or situation, or the title of the sitcom. Is this even possible?! Yes it is! It is all improvised, from the opening song or tune, the edits, the characters, the plotlines, drama, jokes, cliff hangers etc.
We will start with some improv comedy games to warm up the audience and actors.

What is Improv?
Improv is live, unscripted theatre where anything can happen! The performers create characters, scenes, and entire stories from scratch, all based on audience suggestions and their quick-thinking creativity. It’s spontaneous, electric, and completely unique—no two shows are ever the same!
