TAFERELEN is for everyone who enjoys good food, interesting speakers, and great company. Take a seat and be inspired by both familiar and new faces at the table. During dinner, two speakers discuss their work in connection to current themes from FOTODOK’s programme. A photographer is paired with an expert, whether it be a scientist, an experience specialist, or another professional. This way, a topic is explored from different perspectives.

Through Kajet – a Journal of Eastern European encounters – Laura Naum and Petrică Mogoș offer a space for speculative reformulation of Eastern European identities, narratives and imaginaries, as an attempt towards what they call ‘a representation without purity’.

At TAFERELEN #54 Petrică Mogoș joins Katia Krupennikova to speak about the upcoming issue of Errant Journal Shifting Centres: Searching for Companions that explores opportunities for support and cooperation across different regions against imperialism.

Katia Krupennikova is a curator, educator, and writer based in Amsterdam. Her practice moves through exhibition-making, feminist collectivity, and institutional inquiry, engaging with political and social histories through inquiries into gaze, care, and solidarity. Currently she is guest editor of Errant Journal #9, Shifting Centres: Searching for Companions. Her recent projects include Remembering Otherwise (Framer Framed, 2025), Politics of Rotation (PAKT, 2025), Being Safe Is Scary (11th Survival Kit Festival, Riga), and Beyond a Certain Point There Is No Return (A Tale of A Tub, 2023). Krupennikova teaches in the MA Fine Art programmes at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht and BEAR Fine Art (ArtEZ Arnhem). She is a co-founded Oo(y)ster Mums (2023) and Non-Aligned Feminist Friendships (2024).
