ZIMIHC theater Zuilen

ZIMIHC (pronounced zimmick) is a non-profit organization that encourages local cultural development and participation in the arts. Spread across three theaters in the city, ZIMIHC stimulates amateur art. It doesn’t matter whether you are just starting out or have years of experience. Here you can practice, exhibit or perform.

The first ZIMIHC theater was opened in Wittevrouwen by director Appie Alferink. He discovered that there was a shortage of places to rehearse and perform and decided to do something about it.

ZIMIHC has been important for amateur art in Utrecht for over 30 years. In addition to the theater in Wittevrouwen, there are also theaters in Overvecht and Zuilen. That means there is always a ZIMIHC location near you. So don’t hold back and get on that stage!
