dB’s Studio

Until the nineties it was not easy for bands to find a good place to practice. So when dBs was opened, musical Utrecht was very happy. Finally a moisture-free, heated space where you can be creative and enjoy it!

In 2003 dB’s moves to Cartesiusweg where a concert hall, 17 rehearsal studios and a recording studio are established. When the Dutch Pop Academy was started in 2006, they quickly found the way to dBs as well. This way young musical talent can develop further at dB’s into professional musicians.

Every year around 150 concerts can be visited in the concert hall. There is also a cozy café, which is open to everyone. You can choose from up to 60 types of beer! And if you feel like staying for a bite to eat, you can enjoy delicious dishes at Roots Rock Kitchen from Thursday to Sunday.
