IKFU Lunch concert

IKFU Lunchconcert

Every generation brings with it new top talents. For example, in 2006, South Korean pianist Sunwook Kim was a young talent himself when, at 18, he became the youngest winner in forty years of the prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition. At TivoliVredenburg, he is now committed to allowing (very) young talent to shine in Claude Debussy’s Cello Sonata and Brahms’s delightful Third Sonata for Violin and Piano.

Lilja Haatainen, just 14 years old, is a talent to watch. The Finnish violinist already performs internationally, and Janine Jansen now proudly presents her to the Dutch public. Nineteen-year-old South Korean cellist Jaemin Han has also made a name for himself. In 2021, he became the youngest winner ever to win the George Enescu International Competition. And then there’s the Scandinavian string quartet, Opus 13, which has been in existence for over ten years, performing Mozart’s witty Dissonance Quartet . A lunchtime concert with much to discover.
