LimeLight’s Debut Showcase
Limelight Productions takes the stage for the first time, performing three varying short plays. One theme is central to these plays: the fear of failure, but with a humorous flair.
Performed entirely in English, LimeLight welcomes everyone. This way, theater is made more accessible to a broader audience, including the large international community in Utrecht.
A new theater group’s first performance: be a part of the beginning.
The show is suitable for ages 14 and up.
Programme
The signs were there
A humorous tale about Bobbi, who together with her best friend and a reluctant thief, is trying to save her community before it’s too late. But what happens when no one heeds your warnings and everyone seems to be working against you? When is it better to just give up, and how do you decide that?
All fun and games
Why keep studying when you can also drop out and start your own private detective business? Mckenna and Jess make it their mission to find all missing cats in the neighborhood and bring them back to their rightful owners. This however, doesn’t happen without its hiccups as the two struggle with their own problems, risking not only their future but also their friendship.
Allegedly
Allegedly follows three women who are locked up in a correctional facility. Each struggles with their situation in their own ways, while flashbacks shed light on what happened that brought them here. Will they grow closer or do their contrasting personalities lead them to push each other away when they need each other most?
