In the midst of our busy lives, opinions and screens, there is one thing that never gets old: a good story. Come together in Soula’s living room to listen to personal stories and beautiful music and let yourself be touched by them.

During Soula’s Storytelling Nights, people come together to listen to stories that are true, imagined, mythological or somewhere in between. Stories that are funny, painful, thrilling, touching, or utterly unbelievable. Stories that take us to other countries, other lives, and sometimes surprisingly close to our own. 

Each evening is built around a different theme, which challenges storytellers to explore their own experiences, memories, and imagination. From hope and shame to music, miscommunication, and masculinity: each time, this results in a colourful mix of voices and perspectives. Accompanied by the beautiful music of house band Reversed.

On stage, experienced storytellers share the space with new voices. And the audience can become part of the evening too. Anyone who wishes can put their name in a hat. At the end of the night, two names are drawn, and those selected are invited to tell their story. No paper, just the story, spoken from the heart. 

An evening filled with stories, baklava and unexpected connections.
