In an abandoned swimming pool, once a place of freedom and lightness, two bodies return to their origin. What starts as a nostalgic encounter unfolds into a poetic and unsettling journey through memories, dreams, and inherited stories. 

Schaduwstemmen (Shadowvoices) is a compelling dance theatre performance about the traces the past leaves within us, memories, and emotions that echo across generations. In our time when we are increasingly reflecting on our past and our relationship to it, Schaduwstemmen engages with transgenerational trauma as a growing and visible reality. An intimate and powerful experience that renders the invisible visible and makes the past tangible in the present.
