The Men’s Table

How are things actually going when it comes to work, relationships, children, health, finances and friendships? Probably sometimes well and sometimes not so well. After all, no one has everything figured out all the time.

How would it feel to regularly sit down with a small group of men? To share a meal, exchange experiences and hear how other men deal with life’s challenges?

That is the Men’s Table: a group of men who meet once a month to share a good meal and have real conversations. Everyone listens to one another, without judgement and without immediately offering advice. You don’t need to be fixed. You can simply join as you are.

Curious whether it might be right for you? Join one of our introductory evenings in Utrecht. Maarten and Niels, the initiators of the Men’s Table in the Netherlands, will explain what the Men’s Table is, how an evening works and which guidelines help create an open and trusting atmosphere.

You won’t be expected to share anything personal during the introductory evening. We will begin with an enjoyable meal, followed by an explanation of the concept and plenty of time for questions. Afterwards, you can join an actual Men’s Table evening to experience it for yourself and decide whether it suits you.

If there is enough interest, a permanent group will be formed and will continue to meet independently once a month. Maarten and Niels will not be part of the group, but will remain available to offer guidance and support from a distance.

Food will be provided. It would be great if you could bring something small to share, such as bread, soup or a salad, but if that isn’t possible, that is no problem at all.

The number of places at the table is limited, so please register in advance.

Pull up a chair, share a meal and discover the Men’s Table. You are very welcome.
