Lees in het NederlandsFrom Friday 4 to Sunday 6 September 2026, Maximapark will be the setting for the festive closing of Festival TREK. In honour of its twelfth anniversary, the festival is going all out with a special birthday edition in Utrecht. The spacious park will be transformed into a Burgundian village where food, drink and entertainment come together.
Visitors can look forward to a wide range of food trucks, selected for their quality and originality. From savoury classics to creative vegan dishes and sweet temptations: there is something for every taste. Various terraces and bars have been set up on the grounds, where you can relax with a drink.
The entertainment programme offers a varied mix of theatre, cabaret and live music from up-and-coming talent. In the evenings, the day ends with dance music, including disco hits and DJ sets. Families also feel at home here, thanks to children’s theatre, nostalgic fairground attractions and play areas for the youngest visitors.
As with all editions, Festival TREK is free to attend and uses a sustainable, reusable glassware system. The anniversary edition in Maximapark is a summery and festive conclusion to the festival season.
