The Winter Market at Molen de Ster is celebrating its 10th edition! On Saturday, December 12, and Sunday, December 13, 2026, you will find over 50 stalls—both indoors and outdoors—featuring products from local makers. From jewelry, cards, and calendars to wooden art, cushions, toys, and baby clothes: there are plenty of original gifts for all ages and budgets.

Need a break from browsing? Take a seat on the terrace or on a hay bale with some mulled wine, hot chocolate, freshly baked typical Dutch Poffertjes (mini pancakes), or a bowl of Snert (split pea soup). The street band Tegenwind—renamed ‘Kerstwind’ (Christmas Wind) for the occasion—will be playing familiar Christmas songs. Other live performances will also add to the festive winter atmosphere.

For children, the enclosed playground and a silent disco will be open. Those wishing to explore the windmill can join a free guided tour and see how the sawmill harnesses wind energy to cut timber.
