Pint of Science

Pint of Science is an annual scientific festival that takes place simultaneously around the globe during three days in the month of May. The festival has grown so rapidly that it is now organised in nearly 500 cities and in more than 25 countries. In The Netherlands, the festival has been ´brewed´ since 2018. Currently, a total of 8 Dutch cities are joining this scientific event, and of course, Utrecht is one of them!

The festival will be hosted in different pubs around the city, where scientists from different areas of expertise (physics, astronomy, biotech, medicine, social sciences…) will share their work in a fun and laid-back manner. With this format, Pint of Science allows the public to engage, chat and ask all their curiosities to the expert in a relaxed atmosphere.

The festival will organise a mix of events both in Dutch and in English.
