A magician with nothing in his hands
and (almost) nothing up his sleeves.

He can conjure things from a bag,
make a chair balance on two legs,
and do something involving butter.

Sometimes his tricks work right away,
sometimes they take a bit longer,
but the magician does his best
to turn it into a wonderful show.

There’s a smoke machine,
a strobe light,
photos from newspapers,
a banana and an orange.
Sometimes children walk across the stage
carrying a cardboard sign that says:
no more shall we part, party

We wish we could tell you more,
but it would spoil the fun.

We can reveal
that during the grand finale,
the magician changes color.
