Utrechts Jazzfestival 2026
On Sunday, June 7, a group of nine students will once again transform Janskerkhof in Utrecht into a vibrant open-air stage for jazz fans and curious music lovers alike. On this bright spring day, enjoy live music, great food, and good company from 13:00 to 23:00—and the best part? Admission is completely free!
Let yourself be carried away by exciting performances from Red Hot One Hundred Big Band, Utrechtse Studenten Big Band, Djorba’s Zango, Kitchen Collective, De Nachtelijke Escapades, and De Boulevard. Various vinyl DJs will be spinning records throughout the day, and between sets you’ll have the chance to discover the jazz talent of tomorrow, as students from the HKU Conservatory provide lively interludes.
Since 2014, the Utrecht Jazz Festival has become a staple in the city and remains Utrecht’s only open-air jazz festival. With its welcoming atmosphere, diverse food stands, and varied program, there’s something for everyone.
Whether you’re a seasoned jazz enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out in the city, everyone is welcome.
