At the Bockbier Festival Utrecht, you can sample more than 25 different autumn bock beers at Janskerkhof. Enjoy live music, food trucks, beer tastings and a cosy autumn atmosphere in the heart of the city.

From 16 to 18 October 2026, Janskerkhof will host the 27th edition of the Bockbier Festival Utrecht. For three days, beer lovers come together to celebrate autumn with a wide selection of bock beers, live music and culinary treats.

More than 25 breweries will serve their autumn bock beers on tap. From well-known Dutch breweries to local favourites and international names, there is plenty to choose from for craft beer enthusiasts. You can also take part in various beer tastings hosted by international beer sommelier Arvid Bergström. Discover the differences between various bock beers or opt for a tasting that pairs beer with cheese or Asian dishes.

The festival is about more than just beer. Utrecht bands and DJs provide live music on stage, while food trucks and barbecue dishes from the smoker complete the culinary line-up. Visitors can also vote for their favourite bock beer in the annual Topbock competition.

Families are welcome too. On Sunday afternoon, there is a special children’s programme featuring face painting, crafts and circus activities, making the festival a fun day out for younger visitors as well.
