In 2005, Schweigman& created the performance Wervel, a solo piece in which Boukje Schweigman uncompromisingly subjected herself to spinning forces. In this workshop, Boukje invites you to experience that same sensation for yourself.

Spinning is not about performance, but exploration: what happens when you do not try to control the rotation, but instead trust in it? It is an experience that can be physical, sensory, and spiritual—a moment of surrender in motion, a path to unity and inner stillness.

The workshop begins with a brief explanation and a warm-up to familiarize you with the practice of spinning. We then move into a group spinning session, allowing space for you to personally explore the intensity and duration of the movement.

No prior experience is required—only curiosity and a willingness to surrender to the movement.
