Back to Tivoli
TIVOLI: The legendary music venue, which was located on Utrecht’s Oudegracht from 1979 to 2014. What began as a squat by young people looking for a place of their own became a music venue with groundbreaking programming. It hosted punk, rock, pop, reggae, hip-hop, dance, and other genres during more than 5,000 concerts and dance nights. In the exhibition Back to Tivoli, you’ll discover more about 30 years of Utrecht’s pop history and see some of the most beautiful posters, photos, films, and other items from the Tivoli archive.
A small selection from the exhibition:
- View the timeline of all concerts
- Relive the Urban Dance Squad concert on December 21, 1991
- Add your memories of Tivoli to the exhibition
