Utrecht City Sprints

In collaboration with Utrecht University, which is also celebrating its anniversary this year, the City Sprints are back for a second edition. A spectacular rowing festival in the heart of Utrecht, on the Catharijnesingel. On the canal, various rowing boats will compete in fast 1-on-1 sprints over 250 metres. For young and old, rowers and non-rowers, students and Utrecht residents, there will be plenty to do on the water and on the shore throughout the day.

In addition to the spectacle on the water, there will be live music on the banks throughout the day, including performances by our own anniversary band. There will also be various food trucks on site offering snacks and cold drinks. The event promises to be a big party where the whole city of Utrecht can get acquainted with rowing in a fun way. 

The event is free and open to everyone in the city.
